अन्वयः

स्त्रियः women, सुमहानादम् loud sounds, विनद्य having cried, श्रमेण with exhaustion, उपरताः have ceased, अद्य now, राजनिवेशने in the king's palace, निर्घोषः clamour, नूनम् surely, विरतः has subsided.

Having bewailed aloud, the women have, methinks, (by this time) ceased through fatigue, and the king's residence is still.

Summary

All the women having cried so much must have quietened down out of sheer exhaustion. That is why perhaps the sounds from the royal palace have ceased.
