स मन्दरतलप्रख्यं मयूरस्थानसंकुलम् ।
ध्वजयष्टिभिराकीर्णं ददर्श भवनोत्तमम् ॥

सः he, मन्दरगिरिप्रख्यम् comaparable to mount Mandara, मयूरस्थानसङ्कुलम् places crowded with peacocks, ध्वजयष्टिभिः with flag staffs fixed, आकीर्णम् filled with, धीरनिष्ठितकर्मान्तम् built by skilled craftsmen with great care, भूतपतेः of Siva, the lord of all creatures, गृहमिव like home, भवनोत्तमम् magnificent mansion, समन्ततः every where, अनेकरत्नसङ्कीर्णम् full of gems, निधिजालम् treasure troves, ददर्श saw

He beheld that charming mansion resembling Mandara, filled with places for peacocks* thronged with pennons and flagstaffs, a very mine of countless gems, a field of treasures spread around, where persons of intrepid calmness were engaged in acts tending to the safety of the treasures, resembling the mansion herself of Kubera. *Sportive peacocks.

Summary

Comparable to mount Mandara, it was crowded with peacocks, set with flag staffs fixed all over, magnificent mansions built by skilled craftsmen with great efforts, decked with gems of several kinds, rich with treasures comparable to Kailasa, the home of Siva, the Lord of all beings.
