निर्ययू राक्षसव्याघ्रा नादयन्तो दिशो दश ।
राक्षसा भीमकर्माणो रावणस्य जयैषिणः ॥

अन्वयः

रावणस्य for Ravana, जयैषिणः desiring victory, राक्षसव्याघ्राः tiger among Rakshasas, भीमकर्माणः of terrible deeds, तेराक्षसाः those Rakshasas, काञ्चनापीडैः provided with golden trappings, हयैः horses, अग्निशिखोपमैः like flames of fire, ऊर्ध्वैः posts, आदित्यसङ्काशैः shining like sun's rays, रथैः chariots, मनोरमैः delightful, कवचैश्च shields, दश ten, दिशः directions, नादयन्तः resounding, निर्ययुः sallied forth.

And furnished with steeds in golden trappings, and elephants resembling flames of fire; and cars appearing like (so many) suns; and shining armour, the valiant Räkşasas issued, making the ten cardinal points resound. The Rākşasas of terrific exploits were burning for victory on behalf of Rāvana.

Summary

Wishing victory for Ravana, the tiger among ogres, the Rakshasas of terrific deeds sallied forth accompanied by horses with golden trappings and seizing posts, which were like flames of fire shining like the sun's rays on the chariots and delightful shields, roaring resounding in all the ten directions.
