रामस्तु पुनरालक्ष्य नागरस्य जनस्य च ।
तत्रागमनमेकाग्रे दण्डकान्प्रविवेश ह ॥

अन्वयः

भरते when Bharata, गते तु had gone, श्रीमान् one possessing brightness, सत्यसन्ध: steadfast in his vows, जितेन्द्रिय: conquered the senses, राम: तु Rama, नागरस्य जनस्य च of citydwelling citizens', पुन: again, तत्र in that Chitrakuta mountain, आगमनम् arrival, आलक्ष्य perceiving, एकाग्र: with undivided concentration of mind and resoluteness (to fulfill the promise given to his father), दण्डकान् Dandaka forest, प्रविवेश ह entered.

And when the auspicious Bharata, firm in his promise and of subdued sense, had gone away, Rāma again perceiving there the influx of citizens and others, eagerly entered Dandaka.

Summary

When Bharata departed, Sri Rama, a man of good fortune and steadfast in vows one who had conquered under control perceiving that the citizens from Ayodhya would arrive there, entered the Dandaka forest with single minded determination (so that there would not be breach of his promise).
