अन्वयः

तत: after that, ते द्विजा: those brahmins, धर्मज्ञम् knower of righteousness, पार्थिवर्षभम् great king, अस्तुवन् praised, अनुज्ञाता: having been permitted, तत: from there, पुन: again, यथागतम् in the manner as they came, जग्मु: returned.

Then hearing those words of that best king again, as heard before, conversant with their duty, having blessed the monarch, taking permission of the king, they returned to their respective quarters.

Summary

Bowing to this best of kings (Dasaratha), all the brahmins who were experts in austerities left all the knowledgeable brahmins as they camewith his permission.
