सा त्वेवमुक्ता वैदेही अनसूयानसूयया ।
प्रतिपूज्य वचो मन्दं प्रवक्तुमुपचक्रमे ॥

अन्वयः

अनसूया one who is free from malice, सा वैदेही that Vaidehi, अनसूयया by Anasuya, एवम् in this way, उक्ता when addressed, वचः those words, प्रतिपूज्य having worshipped, मन्दम् in a gentle tone, प्रवक्तुम् to tell, उपचक्रमे commenced.

Thus addressed by Anasūyā, Vaidehī devoid of malice, honouring her words, began, “That you should instruct me is no wonder in you."

Summary
