अन्वयः

सुमन्त्रोऽपि Sumantra also, अस्मात् from that chariot, अवतीर्य having alighted, हयोत्तमान् the best of horses, मोचयित्वा having unyoked, कृताञ्जलिः with folded palms, वृक्षमूलगतम् sitting at the foot of the tree, रामम् Rama, उपतस्थे stood near.

Then descending, Sumantra relieved those excellent horses, and with joined hands stood before Rāma seated at the foot of the tree.

Summary

Sumantra also got off the chariot, unyoked the horses and with folded palms stood near Rama who had already reached the foot of the tree.
