बलेन गुप्तो भरतो महात्मा; सहार्यकस्यात्मसमैरमात्यैः ।
आदाय शत्रुघ्नमपेतशत्रु;र्गृहाद्ययौ सिद्ध इवेन्द्रलोकात् ॥

अन्वयः

बलेन with army, गुप्तः under the protection of, महात्मा illustrious, अपेतशत्रुः devoid of enemies, भरतः Bharata, आत्मसमैः like himself, अमात्यैस्सह accompanied by ministers, शत्रुघ्नम् Satrughna, आदाय having taken, आर्यकस्य venerable grandfather's, गृहात् from house, सिद्ध: like siddha, इन्द्रलोकादिव from the regions of Indra, ययौ went.

Protected by the forces and the courtiers of his maternal grandfather dear to him like his ownself, the magnanimous Bharata who had his foes removed, taking with him his brother, Śatrughna, departed from the abode (of the king), like Siddha issuing from the regions of Indra.

Summary

Under the protection of the army, the illustrious Bharata who was devoid of enemies, accompanied by ministers who were comparable to him and Satrughna, departed from his venerable grandfather's house like a siddha leaving the regions of Indra. इत्यार्षे श्रीमद्रामायणे वाल्मीकीय आदिकाव्ये अयोध्याकाण्डे सप्ततितमस्सर्गः॥Thus ends the seventieth sarga in Ayodhyakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
