उवाच तं भरद्वाजः प्रसादाद्भरतं वचः ।
त्वय्येतत्पुरुषव्याघ्र युक्तं राघववंशजे ।
गुरुवृत्तिर्दमश्चैव साधूनां चानुयायिता ॥

अन्वयः

पुरुषव्याघ्रः O best of men, गुरुवृत्ति: conduct towards spiritual preceptors, दमश्चैव control over senses, साधूनाम् of virtuous people, अनुयायिता following, एतत् all this, राघववंशजे born in the Raghu race, त्वयि in you, युक्तम् is appropriate.
