अन्वयः

लक्ष्मणः Lakshmana, तद्वाक्यम् those words, श्रुत्वा having heard, व्रीलितः abashed, प्रत्युवाच ह replied, पिता father, दशरथः Dasaratha, त्वां you, द्रष्टुम् to see, स्वयम् personally, आयातः has come, मन्ये I think.

And finding Lakşmaņa overcome with shame, Rāghava replied, I think that mighty-armed one has come hither to see us; or I take it for certain that, considering that we are fit for ease only, and taking our banishment to heart, he will take us home.

Summary

Hearing the words of Rama, Lakshmana was abashed and said I think it is our father, king Dasaratha who has come here personally to see you.
