ततः स तेषां रुदतां महात्मनां; भुवं च खं चानुविनादयन्स्वनः ।
गुहा गिरीणां च दिशश्च संततं; मृदङ्गघोषप्रतिमो विशुश्रुवे ॥

अन्वयः

तत्र there, रुदताम् weeping, तेषां महात्मनाम् those magnanimous persons, स्वनः that tumult, भुवं च the earth, खं च the sky, गिरीणाम् of mountains, गुहाश्च caves, दिशश्च the directions, अनुनिनादयन् reverberating, मृदङ्गघोषप्रतिमः like beating of drums, सन्ततम् incessantly, प्रशुश्रुवे was heard.
