अन्वयः

लक्ष्मणेन by Lakshmana, एवम् likewise, उक्ता spoken, सा जनकात्मजा she, the daughter of Janaka, ततः then, रुदन्ती while crying, बाष्पपरिप्लुता eyes filled with tears, तीव्रम् harsh, वाक्यम् words, प्रत्युवाच replied.

Being thus accosted by Lakşmaņa the daughter of Janaka replied weeping and being bathed in tears.
