इति ब्रुवाणो दृढसत्यविक्रमो; महायशा दाशरथिः प्रतापवान् ।
अवेक्ष्य सौमित्रिमुदग्रविक्रमं; स्थिरां तदा स्वां मतिमात्मनाकरोत् ॥

अन्वयः

दृढसत्यविक्रमः Firm in the strength of truth, महायशाः illustrious, प्रतापवान् powerful, दाशरथिः Dasaratha's son (Rama), इति thus, ब्रुवाणः spoke, उदग्रपौरुषम् of mighty manliness, सौमित्रिम् Saumitri, अवेक्ष्य on seeing, तदा then, स्वाम् his own, स्थिराम् determined, मतिम् mind, आत्मना himself, अकरोत् fixed.

Firm in the strength of truth, famous and powerful Rama, son of Dasaratha, determined to act with a steadfast mind, spoke to Lakshmana of mighty manliness on seeing him. इत्यार्ष श्रीमद्रामायणे वाल्मीकीय आदिकाव्ये अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनसप्ततितमस्सर्गः॥Thus ends the sixtyninth sarga of Aranyakanda of the holy Ramayana the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
