स मेरुशृङ्गाग्रगतामनिन्दितां; प्रविश्य पातालतलेऽपि वाश्रिताम् ।
प्लवंगमानां प्रवरस्तव प्रियां; निहत्य रक्षांसि पुनः प्रदास्यति ॥

अन्वयः

प्लवङ्गमानाम् of monkeys, प्रवरः the best one, सः he, अनिन्दिताम् a blameless, तव प्रियाम् your dear consort, मेरुशृङ्गाग्रगता even if on top of mount Meru, पातालतले or in the nether world, श्रितां वापि or gone there also, प्रविश्य after reaching, रक्षांसि demons, निहत्य killing, पुनः again, प्रदास्यति he will restore to you.

Whether on the summit of the mount Meru or in the region under the earth, that lord of monkeys, shall give you back your blameless spouse, killing all the Raksasas.

Summary

Sugriva, king of the monkeys, will reach the demons and restore you that blameless, beloved consort of yours, even if she is there on top of mount Meru or in the deep underworld. इत्यार्ष श्रीमद्रामायणे वाल्मीकीय आदिकाव्ये अरण्यकाण्डे द्विसप्ततितमस्सर्गः॥Thus ends the seventysecond sarga of Aranyakanda of the holy Ramayana the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
