न वानरः स्थास्यति साधुवृत्ते; न मंस्यते कार्यफलानुषङ्गान् ।
न भक्ष्यते वानरराज्यलक्ष्मीं; तथा हि नाभिक्रमतेऽस्य बुद्धिः ॥

अन्वयः

वानरः monkey (Sugriva), साधुवृत्ते well conducted, स्थास्यति abide, कर्मफलानुषङ्गान् sharing fruits of action equally, मंस्यते not recognised, वानरराज्यलक्ष्मीम् prosperous kingship of the monkeys, न भोज्यते not enjoy, तथाहि hence, अस्य his, बुद्धिः intellect, नाभिक्रमते not conducted in our favour (search of Sita)

That monkey shall not follow the actions of the pious, shall not think of the great fruit (the accession of kingdom) reaped by our friendship; kingdom because he has not the right understanding to make good his promise.

Summary

'Sugriva has not stuck to the conduct of the virtuous, of sharing the fruits of action equally. He does not realize that he obtained the prosperous kingship of vanaras as a result of your (friendly) action. He does not have the intelligence of conducting himself in your favour (of searching Sita). Therefore he will not enjoy the kingship for long.
