अन्वयः
ततः then, गमनकाङ्क्षया with a desire to get out, हृष्टाः joyful ones, सर्वे all, सम्मीलिताः closed their eye lids, सहसा at once, सुकुमाराङ्गुलैः with delicate fingers, करैः with hands, दृष्टिम् eyes, पिदधुः closed.
M N Dutt
Then they, eagerly desirous of going out, closed their sight* with their hands furnished with tender fingers. *The text has nimilitah—and thus they closed their eyes. This redundant epithet has been left out in the translation, as it would render the version extremely awkward.
Summary
Happy at the prospect of getting out (of the cave) they all not only closed their eyes but also covered them with their delicate fingers.
