अन्वयः

भवान् you, योजनानाम् of yojanas, शतं सहस्रं वा even a hundred or a thousand, गन्तुम् to go, प्रतिनिवर्तितुम् but to return, शक्तः कामम् you have the required energy, एषः this, विधिः duty, उच्यते हि not proper.

Thereat, Jāmbavān, cognizant of speech, said to that foremost of monkeys,-० foremost of leonine as, we know your power of motion, you are capable of ursing a hundred thousand Yojanas, as well as of coming back. But we say that even this is what is fit.

Summary

'You can go upto even a hundred thousand yojanas and have the required energy to return also. But it is not proper to send you (because you are the heir apparent).
