नीलनागाभया वेण्या जघनं गतयैकया ।
सुखार्हां दुःखसंतप्तां व्यसनानामकोदिवाम् ॥

अन्वयः

जघनम् the hips, गतया by touching, एकया by only one, नीलनागाभया which looked like a black serpent, वेण्या with a braid of hair, नीरदापाये at the close of rainy season, नीलया with a dark one, वनराज्या by a range of forest, महीमिव like the earth, सुखार्हाम् who deserves to be happy, दुःखसन्तप्ताम् burning in grief, व्यसनानाम् of worries, अकोविदाम् who had not experienced.

Her braid of long hair resembling a black serpent falling on her back it appeared as if the Earth was filled with dark-blue forests on the disappearance of the rains.

Summary

She (from behind) appeared like the earth covered with a range of trees at the end of rainy season with her single long black braid touching her hips looking like a black serpent. She who deserved to be happy and had not experienced worries was burning in grief. (एकवेणी is a trait of a प्रोषितभर्तृका Sita who was forced to stay in Lanka was a प्रोषितभर्तृका नायिका.)
