बुद्धिप्रधानान्रुचिराभिधाना;न्संश्रद्दधानाञ्जगतः प्रधानान् ।
नानाविधानान्रुचिराभिधाना;न्ददर्श तस्यां पुरि यातुधानान् ॥

अन्वयः

बुद्धिप्रधानान् intellectuals, रुचिराभिधानान् who were sweet in expression, संश्रद्धधानान् who had faith in religion, जगतः in the world, प्रधानान् preeminent, नाना विधानान् heroes of different kinds, रुचिराभिधानान् of good practices, यातुधानान् demons, तस्याम् in that, पुरि city, ददर्श saw.
