ददृशुस्ते समायान्तं राघवं सपुरःसरम् ।
विराजमानं वपुषा रथेनातिरथं तदा ॥

अन्वयः

तदा then, ते they, सपुरःसरम् having gone to Ayodhya, वपुषा god, विराजमानम् shining brightly, रथेन by chariot, समायान्तम् coming with all in accordance with tradition, अतिरथम् great car warrior, राघवम् Raghava, ददृशुः saw

They (citizens) beheld Raghava enter the city with a graceful person and seated in the car.

Summary

Then they saw all those who had gone to Ayodhya coming in advance in accordance with tradition, to receive Rama, the great car warrior, who was shining brightly advancing by the chariot.
