अन्वयः
देवर्षिदानवैरपि even for gods, sages and Danavas, अनाधृष्यतमम् unassailable, देवम् Sun god god, अनासाद्येव not possible, भास्करोदयने near the eastern part, गिरौ on the mountain, पतिता fell down.

And, not getting that god, incapable of being subdued by the deities, saints and Rākṣasas, he dropped down on the Ascending-hill. And thereat a jaw of that strong jawed one was little fractured on the rock, and he is called Hanuman in consequence.
