अन्वयः

अल्पपुण्ये of less merit, निवृत्तार्थे one who has given up all worldly acts, मूढे stupid one, पण्डितमानिनि one who pretends as if she knows everything, सीते O Sita, वृत्रवधंयथा just as the slaying of Vrthasura, घोरम् terrific, भर्तृवधम् husband 's, शृणु hear.

O meek (wench), be you the mistress of all my wives. O you of slender religious merit! O you whose object has been defeated! O you that presumes to be wise! Hearken to the destruction of your lord, like the dreadful destruction of Vrtra!
