शस्त्रपुष्पोपहारा च तत्रासीद्युद्धमेदिनी ।
दुर्ज्ञेया दुर्निवेशा च शोणितास्रवकर्दमा ॥

अन्वयः

तत्र there, शस्त्रपुष्पोपहारा offering of flowers dropped from enemies (from the mountain), युद्धमेदिनी on the battlefield, हतैः killed, वानरवीरैश्च Vanara warriors also, शक्तिशूलपरश्वधैः by javelins, tridents and axes, निहतैः wounded, कामरूपिभिः who can change their form at will, पर्वताकारैः of mountain size, राक्षसैः Rakshasa, शोणितास्रावकर्दमा wetted by the flow of blood, दुर् ज्ञेया muddy, दुर्निवेशाच difficult to reach, आसीत् remained.

And, with able monkeys slain; and darts and javelins and axes; and slaughtered Raksasa wearing forms at pleasure, lying mountain likethe field of battle, seeming to have offerings of arms representing flowers, became difficult to recognise, and inaccessible; and the earth was drenched with streams of blood.

Summary

There with warriors of Vanaras wounded by javelins, tridents and axes, and the Rakshasas of mountain size who could change their form at will, the battlefield was muddy, and wet with blood flowing and difficult to reach.
