कृतं त्वया कर्म महत्सुभीमं; हतप्रवीरश्च कृतस्त्वयाहम् ।
तस्मात्परिश्रान्त इति व्यवस्य; न त्वं शरैर्मृत्युवशं नयामि ॥

अन्वयः

त्वया by you, सुभीमम् exceedingly difficult, महत् great, कर्म task, कृतम् done, त्वया by you, अहम् I, हतप्रवीरः mighty heroes killed, कृतःच done, तस्मात् therefore, परिशान्तःइति exhausted, व्यवस्य declare, त्वाम् you, मृत्युवशम् to death, ननयामि not sent.

You have in battle) performed high and dreadful deeds, and have also (in-the conflict) slain my foremost heroes. And therefore I know you are fatigued. And for this reason it is that I will not with my shafts bring you to the door of Death.

Summary

A great task of killing mighty heroes has been accomplished by you. Therefore, you are exhausted. I declare that I will not send you to death.
