ततो हतांस्तान्सहसा निशम्य; राजा मुमोहाश्रुपरिप्लुताक्षः ।
पुत्रक्षयं भ्रातृवधं च घोरं; विचिन्त्य राजा विपुलं प्रदध्यौ ॥

अन्वयः

ततः there upon, राजा king, तान् them, हतान् killed, सहसा suddenly, निशम्य getting to know, मुमोहपरिप्लुताक्षः lost senses by the eyes bathed in tears, घोरम् dreadful, पुत्रक्षयम् and son, भ्रातृवधं च about killing of his brother, विचिन्त्य thinking, विपुलम् seriously, प्रदध्यौ held.

Suddenly hearing them slain, the king with his eyes charged with brine, thinking of the disastrous destruction of his sons and brothers, was extremely agonized.

Summary

There upon the king, getting to know suddenly about the dreadful killing of his son and brother lost his senses. His eyes were filled with tears, and he was thinking seriously.
