स तथाप्यर्दितो बाणै राक्षसेन महामृधे ।
तमाशु प्रतिविव्याध लक्ष्मणः पनभिः शरैः ॥

अन्वयः

तदा then, मृधे in battle, राक्षसेन by the Rakshasa, तथा that way, अर्धितः pierced, सःलक्ष्मणः that Lakshmana, आशु immediately, आकृष्य stretching his bow, युद्धे in battle, इन्द्रजितः Indrajith, शुभकुण्डले auspicious earrings, वदने face, तम् him, पञ्चभिः five, शरैः arrows, प्रतिविव्याध struck in return

Albeit thus smitten in the contest by the Rākşa with shafts, Lakşmaņa swiftly smote him in turn with five arrows; and in the encounter Lakşmaņa drawing his bow, pierced with shafts Indrajit's face graced with elegant ear-rings.

Summary

Then in the battle, pierced by Rakshasa in that manner, Laksmana immediately stretched his bow and struck with five arrows on the face of Indrajith, who was adorned with auspicious earrings.
