आविवेश महान्क्रोधो रावणं तु महामृधे ।
सूतं संचोदयामास वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह ॥

राक्षसौ Rakshasas, महोदरमहापार्श्वौ Mahodara and Mahaparsva, हतौ killed, दृष्टवा seeing, महाबले of extraordinary might, तस्मिन् therefore, विरूपाक्षे Virupaksha, निहते killed, महामृधे in that great war, रावणम् Ravana, महान् highly, क्रोधः infuriated, आविवेश urged, सूतम् charioteer, सञ्चोदयामास addressed, इदम् these, वाक्यम् च words, उवाच spoke

Beholding Mahodara, Mahāpäráva and the highly powerful Virūpåksa slain in the encounter Rāvaņa attained to an excess of ire. And ordering his charioteer to hurry on he gave went to the following words.

Summary

On seeing Mahodara and Mahaparsva killed in the great war, Virupaksha of extraordinary might also killed, Ravana was highly infuriated and addressed the charioteer in the following words.
