अप्राप्तामेव तां बाणैस्त्रिभिश्चिच्छेद लक्ष्मणः ।
अथोदतिष्ठत्संनादो वानराणां तदा रणे ॥

अन्वयः

लक्ष्मणः Lakshmana, अप्राप्तामेव even before it reached, ताम् those, त्रिभिः three, बाणैः shafts, चिच्छेद shattered, अथ and then, महारणए in that huge conflict, वानराणाम् Vanaras, सन्नादःcheered, उदतिष्ठत rose

Ere the dart had reached its destination, Laks mana severed it with three shafts; and thereat in that mighty conflict there arose a mighty uproar from the monkeys.

Summary

Lakshmana shattered the javelin with three shafts even before it reached him (Vibheeshana). Then the Vanaras raised loud cheer in that huge conflict.
