अन्वयः

सत्यसन्धः bound to truth, सताम् श्रेष्ठः best among virtuous men, आर्यः noble (Rama), यस्य whose अनुमते with sanction, गतः banished, तस्य his, बुद्धिः thought, कदाचन at any time, शास्त्रानुगा adhered to the scriptures, कृता steadfast, मा भूत् let it not happen.

May the sense of him never follow scripture, that had approved the exile into the woods of that foremost of the good, the noble Rāma intent senses. on truth!

Summary

Did not the one who counselled the banishment of my noble brother who is steadfast and bound by truth and virtue, ever adhered to scriptures?(or)My noble brother (Rama), the best among the virtuous, bound to truth, is banished. Let not such thought occur at any time to one who steadfastly adheres to scriptures
