अन्वयः

ततः then, गिरिसन्निकाशः resembling a mountain in size, हनूमान् Hanuman, कृताञ्जलिः offered salutations with folded palms, तां वृद्धाम् to that old lady, अभिवाद्य having greeted, पप्रच्छ enquired, त्वम् you, का who, भवनम् this mansion, बिलं च and cave, इमानि these, रत्नानि च gems, कस्य whose, वदस्व tell.

And-Hanumān like to a hill, bowing down to the old women with joined hands, asked her, saying,-Who are you? And tell me, to whom belong this edifice and the cave as well as all these jewels.

Summary

Then Hanuman who was of the size of a mountain greeted the old lady with folded hands and enquired her 'Who are you? To whom does this mansion, this cave and these gems belong?'इत्यार्षे श्रीमद्रामायणे वाल्मीकीय आदिकाव्ये किष्किन्धाकाण्डे पञ्चाशस्सर्गः॥Thus ends of fiftieth sarga in Kishkindakanda of the first epic of the Holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
