Summary AI "O highly illustrious one, herds of deer come to this hermitage, roam about without any fear, and after tempting us with their beauty, they depart."

तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्य महर्षेर्लक्ष्मणाग्रजः ।

भवांस्तत्राभिषज्येत किं स्यात्कृच्छ्रतरं ततः ।
एतस्मिन्नाश्रमे वासं चिरं तु न समर्थये ॥

Summary AI "In that case, you might be annoyed; what could be more distressing than that? Therefore, I do not consider it appropriate to stay in this hermitage for a long time."

३.६.२१

तमेवमुक्त्वा वरदं रामः संध्यामुपागमत् ।
अन्वास्य पश्चिमां संध्यां तत्र वासमकल्पयत् ॥

Summary AI Having thus spoken to that boon-bestowing sage, Rāma approached the evening rites. After performing the rituals of the evening twilight, he arranged his stay there for the night.

ताभ्यां सुसत्कृत्य ददौ महात्मा
संध्यानिवृत्तौ रजनीं समीक्ष्य ॥

Summary AI Then, observing the arrival of night upon the conclusion of the evening rites, the high-souled Sutīkṣṇa himself, after honoring those two bulls among men, offered them pure food suitable for ascetics.
